A family-friendly fitness event and carnival!

Cornwell Center at MPBC * 2001 Selwyn Avenue, Charlotte

 

Bring your whole family to enjoy a day of fun and fitness at the 7th Annual Cornwell Center 5K & Festival as we support the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.  The carefully mapped road race will appeal to runners and walkers of all levels, and kids can compete in their own fun 1K fitness run/walk! The festival includes great activities for all ages including


Rock wall
Moon bounce
clown balloon artist
petting zoo
ballons
food and beverage
free fitness, health and nutrition activties
and more!

All proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte!

Saturday September 11
          7 am - Packet pick-Up, Cornwell Center Lobby
          7:40 am - Participant warm-up
          8:00 am - 5K run begins
          8:05 am - 5K walk begins
         9:00 am - 1K Kid's Fun Run/Walk begins
         9:20 am - Awards Presentation

 

AWARDS

  • Top 3 male and female overall 5K finishers (excluded from age group winners)
  • Top male and female finishers in categories: 14 and under, and 5 year age divisions between 15 and 70+ years
  • 1st place Men's Masters (50+) and Women's Masters (50+)
  • All awards will be presented at the ceremony and will not be mailed

 

INFORMATION

Parking is available behind the Cornwell Center on Roswell Avenue and adjacent streets
Restrooms and locker rooms are available in the Cornwell Center
Please no in-line skates, bikes, skateboards or dogs on course. Baby joggers welcome!
Entry fees are non-refundable as all proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House
